How to Measure Your Storefront Window for Custom Decals

Getting an accurate measurement is the single most important step before ordering a custom window decal. Start with a steel tape measure rather than fabric, and always measure the visible glass area rather than the frame.

Measure width at three points — top, middle, and bottom — and use the narrowest figure if your window tapers. Do the same for height at the left, center, and right edges. Note any obstructions like door handles, security bars, or existing signage that a new decal will need to work around.
